Maintenance/Custodial Worker

Job Overview

Perform custodial duties to include overall building and grounds maintenance and repairs.

Duties include but not limited to

• Gather and empty trash
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Dusting and wiping down work areas
• Clean, sanitize, and supply restrooms
• May assist or perform snow removal activities and minor maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, or similar activities
• Ensure grounds areas are clean and orderly
• Report major damages and oversee repairs
• Performs related work as required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and other supplies
• Ability to use applicable hand and power tools
